It is our pleasure to share with you a special event honoring the work of Ann Moser at the annual United Leukodystrophy Foundation (ULF) event to be held June 24 in Itasca, Illinois. In addition to the in-person event, there is an opportunity to attend virtually. This fundraising event will not only celebrate Ann, but also ensure that her work is funded well into the future at the Moser Center for Leukodystrophies at Kennedy Krieger Institute, to the benefit of all families affected by leukodystrophy.

As many of you know, Dr. Hugo Moser and Ann Moser were instrumental in building the ULF to be a resource for families affected by leukodystrophies while the disease family was relatively new and lacking in research. Dr. Moser passed away in 2007, but Ann has continued to carry the torch for developing innovative treatment strategies, improved diagnosis practices, and championing efforts in newborn screening for leukodystrophies.

To give everyone a chance to honor Ann during the Tribute Gala, the ULF has created a digital luminary display that will provide a chance to purchase a digital candle to celebrate the impact Ann has had on the leukodystrophy community.

We hope that you will be able to celebrate as we honor Ann and her amazing legacy.
