The Autism Acceptance Month Miniseries
This April, Kennedy Krieger Institute’s Center for Autism and Related Disorders (CARD) is pleased to host the Autism Acceptance Month Miniseries. Experts will share valuable insights during four pre-recorded panel sessions. Parents, family members, caregivers, professionals and community members are all invited to register.
About Panel #1
Autistic self-advocates Mr. Zosia Zaks and Ms. Katelyn Szymanski will discuss the human experience of autism intended to promote an understanding of what autism is from a real and everyday life perspective. They will speak about experiencing and coping with challenges and the positive aspects of autism. Dr. Garland Jones, Supervisor of Neuropsychology Services at Kennedy Krieger Institute’s Center for Autism and Related Disorders (CARD), will moderate the panel.
