This April, Kennedy Krieger Institute’s Center for Autism and Related Disorders (CASSI) is pleased to host the Autism Acceptance Month Miniseries. Experts will share valuable insights during four pre-recorded panel sessions. Parents, family members, caregivers, professionals and community members are all invited to register.

An interdisciplinary research team will share updates on research innovations in Kennedy Krieger Institute's Center for Autism and Related Disorders (CASSI). Topics to be discussed are sex differences in autism, mental health, anxiety, and early intervention. The panel will provide the following insights:
How autism manifests differently in males and females Important ingredients for intervention of anxiety in young children on the autism spectrum Assessing and managing mental health crises for individuals on the autism spectrum Important features of effective early intervention
