*This event is for caregivers of children with pediatric feeding disorders.

Feeding challenges are considered a disorder when they are severe enough to affect a child’s health or growth, cause the child to be underweight or overweight, cause specific nutrient deficiencies, or lead to significant child and family disruption on a daily basis. An estimated 25% of all children have a feeding disorder. Early diagnosis and treatment are extremely important.

This webinar will focus on the following:
• The characteristics of a feeding disorder and how they differ from typical picky eating
• One - two approaches/strategies to address common roadblocks in a child’s feeding journey
• Understanding when and how an evaluation in a feeding disorders clinic is appropriate
